Achamore Lodge has two spacious guest rooms, each with a king size double bed, lots of books, views to the garden and bird feeders and period furniture. A single bed can also be set up making them into a family room. The two rooms share the guest bathroom, which has a bath and overhead shower. Towels and toiletries are provided.
When I do re-open after Lockdown I am likely to only rent out one room at a time downstairs. This will enable social distancing and ensure no sharing of bathroom. I may make an additional room available upstairs. It depends on the guidelines and what we decide as an island is going to work.
Breakfast is provided in the breakfast room and can either be a full Scottish cooked breakfast , or a continental breakfast consisting of toast, croissants, cheeses and preserves (both with vegan and vegetarian options). Please alert me to any dietary requirements.
The cost per night for one adult is £50, two adults £80 and children under 16 are £20 a night. Prices include hearty breakfast, tea and coffee and fruit, and wifi. An evening meal can be provided if needed at a small extra cost. Or you can eat at the Gigha Hotel.
Parking is available at the Lodge, but if you wish to leave your car on the mainland you can either walk or cycle to the Lodge. If I am available, I can sometimes pick up guests from the ferry. Bikes are available to hire at Gigha Stores.
A soothing room with two windows out to the garden.
A sunny room with views to the south east and the gardens.
