Achamore Lodge has two spacious guest rooms, each with a king size double bed, lots of books, views to the garden and bird feeders and period furniture. A single bed can also be set up making them into a family room. There is a guest bathroom, which has a bath and overhead shower. Towels and toiletries are provided.
On re-opening in July I shall only have one ‘family unit’ at a time. So you have exclusive use of bathroom and breakfast room and garden! This will enable social distancing and ensure no sharing of bathroom.
Rooms and all bedding will be deep cleaned between guests and will also have 24 hours ‘rest’ between bookings. I have put in place bedding (pillows and duvet) which can be washed at a high temperature to ensure your safety.
Please use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the property and wash your hands and sanitise immediately on return. I will also provide face masks and gloves. Please use face masks when chatting with me. Its strange but best for all concerned!
I will provide you with check in information before you come and there is an information sheet in your room which you will need to read and then fill in the form attached.
Breakfast is provided in the breakfast room and you will need to book in a time and what you want the night before. I shall wear PPE when preparing it. I cater for any dietary requirements – just let me know when you book so I can make sure I look after you properly. I buy everything locally.
The room cost for one or two adults will be £80. A child under 18 is an additional £25. Prices include hearty breakfast, tea and coffee and fruit, and wifi.
Parking is available at the Lodge, but if you wish to leave your car on the mainland you can either walk or cycle to the Lodge. Bikes are available to hire at Gigha Stores.
A soothing room with two windows out to the garden.
